For Non-Profit Organizations
Please note: To preserve the diversity and quality of the Mountain Glory Festival, we reserve the right to limit vendors in certain categories. An application sent from this page or by mail will be subject to acceptance by the organizers. Space is not guaranteed until confirmed by the organizers.

Information Booths are reserved only for McDowell County Civic Clubs, Churches, or Non-Profit Organizations

RAFFLES ARE NOT PERMITTED.  NO BEVERAGE SALES OR GIVEAWAYS including water and/or coffee.

Activity or craft is required.  

No commercial products allowed.


HELIUM TANKS ARE REQUIRED TO BE SECURED TO STABLE POLE OR HAND TRUCK.

VENDOR SET-UP INFORMATION & GUIDELINES - Saturday, October 12, 2023 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Information Booth set-up begins at 7:30 AM and will be staggered every fifteen minutes.  Space numbers will be with vendor packet at the registration site at New Manna Church, 245 East Court Street, Marion. 

No commercial kits or products or second-hand items allowed.  

All vehicles must be removed from festival site by 8:45 AM.  One vehicle per booth allowed.


Each exhibitor supplies complete booth including tables and canopy.  Tables are to be covered to the ground and canopies are free standing.  Canopies are not required but are desired.  Canopies should be weighted or secured.
  

Damage to the festival site caused by the exhibitor will be the responsibility of the exhibitor.

TAKE DOWN INFORMATION

As a courtesy to all vendors, all booths must remain in place until 4:00 PM.

Take down vehicles are to enter the festival site in the same manner in which they set-up.

Release, Assumption of Risk and Hold Harmless Agreement
In consideration of being a vendor at the Mountain Glory Festival, I hereby RELEASE the City of Marion, NC from all claims, liability and causes of action of every kind whatsoever regarding personal injury, financial loss, property damage or other matters.   I understand the risks of participating in an open-air public festival and I voluntarily ASSUME ALL RISK of damage, injury and loss. Further, I agree to INDEMNIFY and HOLD HARMLESS the City of Marion from any claims, liabilities, causes of action, damage to property and injury to persons, losses, costs and expenses that may result from or be related to the operation of my booth at the festival.

EXHIBITOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance with applicable state or federal laws is the responsibility of the exhibitor (collection of sales tax).

Submission of an application is an implied agreement to abide by the rules set forth herein. 

Special Needs - Indicate on the application as to the electricity, parking for product re-supply and other needs. 
Exhibitors are to supply extension cords. 
   
NO RAIN DATE.  NO REFUNDS IN CASE OF RAIN. 
 
FESTIVAL SPONSOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS, DAMAGES OR OTHER LOSS INCURRED BY THE EXHIBITOR. 

Please note: The North Carolina Fire Code requires that all temporary membrane structures and tents be flame retardant. This means that all vendors during city and private events setup in downtown will need to have a flame retardant tent, and
must have a certificate to confirm this.
This must be shown to the organizers before the festival, or on the day before the tent is put up. No certificate - no canopy. Click here for full details of the how to comply
